Scripture Reading: Matthew 21:33-46.

Memory Verse: Luke 21:25.

1. What responsibility is left to the children of God? Matthew 25:14-15.
2. What does the Lord expect of His children? Matthew 25:16-17.
3. What did the servant do that gained none? Matthew 25:18.
4. Why didn’t the servant with the one talent make an increase? Matthew 25:25.
5. What reward did the slothful servant receive? Matthew 25:30.
Note: We are servants, stewards of Jesus Christ. What we possess is not our own. The Lord Jesus has an interest. We are allowed a certain portion of our possessions as a commission, which we are allowed to use as our own, but the Lord’s is not to be used for our own personal needs.
6. To whom do the silver and the gold belong? Haggai 2:8.
7. What part of the increase is holy unto the Lord? Leviticus 27:30.
8. What part of our increase does the Lord claim? Proverbs 3:9.
9. To whom do the beasts and the fowls of the heavens belong? Psalm 50:10-11.
10. Did Paul recognize that the ministers of God have a right to be supported by the members? To whose authority was it commanded? I Corinthians 9:11-14.
11. Of what is one guilty who withholds the tithes and offerings? Malachi 3:8.
Note: How can anyone claim salvation and rob God? How can anyone claim salvation and not have a part in supporting His cause, and His Ministers? We are His stewards, and our goods, silver and gold, are the Lord’s. We are to render to God that which is God’s. There is but one thing that remains for him that will not render to God that which is His: his hands shall be tied, and he shall be cast into outer darkness. As we give to the Lord that which is His there is an increase in our credit, and our reward will be accordingly.
12. What benefit will God’s children receive in return, if they render unto God that which is His? Malachi 3:10-11.
13. Who gives men power to gain wealth? Deuteronomy 8:18.
14. What vow did Jacob make at Bethel when he turned to the Lord? Genesis 28:20-22.
15. On what condition did Paul say he would have a reward? I Corinthians 9:16-17.

18. Are we to render to our governments (Caesar) some of our income? Why do you think Jesus said this? Luke 20:25.
19. How may we know where a man’s heart is? Luke 12:34.
