Scripture Reading: Genesis 6:1-7.

Memory Verse: Proverbs 14:34.

1. What request did the prodigal son make to his father? Luke 15:11-12.
2. What did he do after his father granted his request? Luke 15:13.
3. What happened after he lost his possessions? Luke 15:14.
4. Did he put forth any efforts to help his condition? What did he do? Luke 15:15.
5. How many people offered assistance to him? Luke 15:16.
Note: The prodigal son thought he was taking an upward journey when he left his father, but he went rapidly in the opposite direction. This is an example of what happens to mankind when he goes away from the Heavenly Father.
6. How did the fruit of the forbidden tree change life for Adam and his wife? Genesis 3:16-19.
7. What privilege did they lose when they disobeyed God? Genesis 3:22-24.
Note: The fruit of the forbidden tree appeared to be good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and the entrance to wisdom, but Adam and Eve met a sad disappointment when they ate it.
8. Why did God destroy mankind in the flood? Genesis 6:5, Genesis 6:7 & Genesis 6:17.
9. Why did the children of Israel lose the favor of God? Judges 2:11-15.
10. What will be the destination of those who stay in sin? Romans 6:23 & Revelation 21:8.
Note: The glamour and thrills of sin have always tempted mankind. Sin is attractive, but it leads downward until it reaches death. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4.
