Preview: The Bible defines who God considers to be a Jew, and what that means.

Scripture Reading: Romans 2:21-29.

Memory Verse: Acts 4:12.

1. From where does salvation come? John 4:22.
2. How do we further understand where salvation comes from? John 4:25.
3. Where did Christ say it was essential to worship in order to receive salvation (including the Hebrew people)? John 4:20-21.
4. Is there respect of persons and partiality with God? What action brings salvation? Romans 2:11-13.
5. Who crucified our Lord Jesus? Acts 2:36.
Note: It was the lost sheep of Israel who crucified Jesus. They believed because they were the offspring of Abraham by a fleshly birth that they were the children of God.
6. What happens to those who claim to be Jews and are not? Revelation 3:9.
7. Who is a Jew? Romans 2:28-29.
Note: Teachers today are deceiving many by teaching that the Jews gathering in Jerusalem are waiting for the return of Christ, and are establishing their headquarters in Jerusalem so that the Word of God may go out from there. They do not know that the command to go to every kindred, nation, and tongue was a command from Jesus given over 2000 years ago. The Holy Scriptures came out from Jerusalem.
8. Who will have their names written in the Book of Life? Revelation 3:5.
9. Where does the Word of God come from today? From Jerusalem, or directly from the Son, Jesus? Hebrews 1:1-2.
10. How long will the Lord Jesus continue to speak to His children? Matthew 28:19-20.
Note: This forever destroys the thought that the Word of God will come out from Jerusalem, and that the Jews must gather at Palestine to be converted. There are great things being done in Palestine by artificial means. The Lord plainly foretold that deceivers would show great signs and wonders.
11. How only can a Gentile become an Israelite? Romans 11:16-17.
12. Who are Abraham’s children and heirs according to the promise? Galatians 3:29.
13. What kin are the children by faith to Abraham? Galatians 3:7.
14. What works will those that are Jews perform? John 8:39.
Note: What more do we want? The Scriptures are plain. Before we can brand anyone as children of God and Jews, they must do the works of Abraham.
15. Was Abraham saved by works or by faith? Hebrews 11:8.
16. What did Jesus advise Nicodemus when he asked the way to eternal life? John 3:3.
17. Was a change of heart or a change of life taught before the days of Jesus? Ezekiel 36:26-27.
Note: A new heart requires a second birth, just as Jacob wrestled with the angel and prevailed with God. He received a new heart.
18. With whom was the new covenant made? Hebrews 8:8.
19. What becomes of those that do not abide in Jesus or accept Him? John 15:6.
20. Whose names are inscribed on the pearly gates of the Holy City? Revelation 21:12.
21. Whose names are inscribed on the walls of the Holy City, Jews or Gentiles? Revelation 21:14.
22. Did Paul brand a Gentile as a Christian before he accepted Christ? Ephesians 2:11-12.
23. What did the Father sacrifice for sinners? John 3:16.
Note: The promises of God are for the inward Jew: Those with a new heart and spirit, born again. Amen.
