Preview: Visions have been key to the survival of God’s children throughout the history of the Bible and are still important to us today. This is the second part of a two-part series of lessons on this subject.

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 4:1-15.

Memory Verse: I Corinthians 1:7.

1. How may we know if we are a child of God? II Corinthians 13:5.
2. How may we know the truth of God and the true Church? John 7:17.
3. Will God hear a sinner? Whom will He hear? John 9:31.
4. How many faiths and Spirits are there with God? Ephesians 4:4-6.
Note: The prophecies are written for the saints of God to comfort them, to guide them, and as a timepiece to know where we are in the stream of time.
5. Are the writings of the prophets a part of the Church foundation? Ephesians 2:20.
6. What will be the reward of the men who leave off or add to the prophecies? Revelation 22:18-19.
7. Did Isaiah write of future things to come? Isaiah 30:8.
8. Who will not hear the prophecies? Isaiah 30:9-10.
9. Should we despise prophesying? I Thessalonians 5:20.
10. Should we desire prophecy? I Corinthians 14:1.
11. How will prophecy affect the unbelievers and the unlearned? I Corinthians 14:24.
12. Should we covet prophecy? I Corinthians 14:39.
Note: We now better understand why the Pharisees and Sadducees crucified Jesus; they were not students of the prophecies. They committed the greatest crime of all crimes; they crucified the Author and Giver of prophecies. They trusted in the law alone, were blind leaders. Brethren, covet to prophecy.
